Google Desktop for Mac
Well today Google debuted their popular windows application, Google Desktop for Mac OS X. So far I have liked it it’s fast, much like quicksilver and spotlight. Although the interface is clean, as if it was an Apple application, or even slicker. There was a few things that caught my eye other than the slick search interface, I wasn’t sure where in the world everything was being installed and what exactly was being installed. Daring Fireball, well, dared to find out and their results can be found here. My next question was how well does it work and how well is it integrated into my system, wel apparently according to Daring Fireball it’s got it’s little hands in your system but is inert. It is also very fast and efficient for the minimal amount of searching I actually do outside of Quicksilver.
