Stalking 2.0 (Voluntarily of course)
Well with all new technologies come creepy ways to use them, one of them being stalking. Although I’m talking about voluntary stalking using several web 2.0 features to allow your friends to know what you’re doing, what you’re listening to, and where you are. Mashable.com has created a list of several web 2.0 services to allow your friends to do such a thing.
- First of which is Wakoopa which tracks what programs you’ve been running, what software has been installed, etc.
- Next is Last.fm this program allows you and your friends to track what music you’ve been listening to.
- Next up is Cluzter, this allows users to “stop wandering the web alone” it shows friends what web sites you’ve been visiting
- Another notable on the list is Slifeshare which is like the old Slife, it tracks what programs are running and what is running inside of them now you’re able to upload this to the web and allow friends to view your usage data
Of course there are many others on the original list that are still notable and maybe of more use to you than they are to me so I recomend checking out Mashable.com’s “Stalking 2.0: The Websites that Track Your Every Move (Voluntarily)“
Update: You can now track me using Wakoopa at http://wakoopa.com/jak119
