Photo Sniper

A friend of mine just sent me this on AIM, apparently it’s a camera attachment that acts like a normal gun. I’ve gotta go check out the “Fotosniper”.
Edit: Ok turns out that camera is all one thing and I found the company’s website about it. Talk about a bad website too.
Back to Opera
As many of you may know I took a hiatus from using Opera as some websites just flat out didn’t work well in Opera so when I realized that I hadn’t tried Flock again since it’d left beta I’d give it another shot. At first I loved it, then I slowly started to hate it. Youtube, WordPress, and Flickr the three sites I use a lot were all very slow and worthless in Flock not to mention that it even managed to slow down the already slow Facebook (which I live on).
So in an attempt to find another browser I decided I’d go back to Opera after all I missed speed dial…a lot and no plugin I found could match the one native to Opera
At this point I’m using both Safari and Opera interchangeably I use Safari for sites that Opera doesn’t render correctly and I may be using Safari for new WordPress posts as Opera has a bug when you start a new paragraph on WordPress’ software it doesn’t start a new line automatically which then throws the CSS coding off and your text runs into the rest of the page.
Round-Up
Well I figured I might as well round up what’s been going on with me in the past several weeks that have kept me from blogging regularly. Since my last post about what’s going on with me I’ve…
- Stopped running because of my stomach problem
- Designed one website and started work on a second so I guess I’ve become a freelance designer
- Started looking for a part-time job
- Tried to get a girlfriend
- And lots of other little things

My Work
For the past several weeks I’ve been working with my local library in creating a website geared towards the children’s services department. Below is a screen shot I took of the site if you’d like to see the code for it let me know by leaving me a comment.
The site was built on CSS-Tricks’ “Perfect Fluid Layout.” Which was worked great for me and I highly recommend it. I am looking for some design advice so anything you’ve got to offer me I’d love to hear and once again, if you want the code let me know in a comment!

It’s Been Way too Long
Sorry it’s been such a long time since I’ve blogged but I’ve been on vacation in Florida for the past week. But I’ve got a ton of new stuff to talk about including but certainly not limited to
- Our rental car
- Our hotel
- How friendly Disney employees (cast members) are
- The amazing shows at Disney
- And the lack of some things I expected Disney to have
So stay ‘tuned’ as I’ll be posting these as soon as I can.
Guitar Hero LED Mod
I was looking around Instructables today when I came across this awesome guitar hero mod that adds some LEDs to the buttons on the controller. This seems like a really cool idea and probably one of the best mods I’ve seen in a while, it makes me want to try this with someone’s GH II controller.

Top 30 websites that still are using tables as layout structure
You won´t believed how many they are. Some of then are your daily web routine. Stop hunting those IE CSS tricks and bring back your Frontpage 98 my friend designer, we are still in web 0.8889
This really surprises and disappoints me how many of the web 2.0 services are still using tables, hopefully this exposure will prompt them to make some better looking sites. Although some of the sites on the list are some awesome sites. Just to give you a little sample of what the list contains that are still good sites despite their use of tables are Facebook, Flickr, Wikipedia, Google, and lots more.
