Canon EOS XSi

Apparently in April Canon is releasing their update to their entry level SLR camera bodies with the XSi which adds a new image sensor, bigger screen, and live view. As far as I know (and I’m probably going to be corrected on this) the XSi will be the second major camera from a large company to feature an SLR camera with live view. But as an aspiring photographer I’m almost thinking I’d rather not have a live view, I’ve always been a fan of viewfinders, even on most point and shoot cameras.
Edit: Here’s a link to Canon’s site with details about the camera.
Apple Posts Leopard 10.5.1 Update - The First Update, Epic
Weighing in at 109MB, this looks to be a fairly significant update. Wow, it didn’t take long for the first update but I suppose that’s a good thing, Apple cares!
New Theme!
Well for a while I got tired of my theme and went back to one that I was using a while back which works very well and is very appealing but then today I got curious and started looking at some of the new themes wordpress has made available to us free users and I realized that there’s an awesome new theme that I’m now using and like very much so ChaosTheory. It’s a very clean looking theme, no? Well hope you like it, please leave me a comment if you don’t.

Akismet Spam
Today I realized I could look at what Akismet blocked from being posted as a comment and there were a few that I don’t think were actually spam so I unmarked them but some of them were truely spam so I’m not going to turn off Akismet but if you’ve posted a comment and never saw it on my posts I appologize as it was auto-filtered so from now on I plan on checking what was auto removed from my posts.
SimpleWeather.com
![]()
If you haven’t seen Time’s top 100 websites you should check out the list but from that list comes an awesome website, SimpleWeather.com. The site uses weather.com’s data to make a nice easy to read screen without clutter and without ads. Today when the site automatically refreshed I was greeted with a new logo and once I re-entered my zip code a brand new details screen where there are now ads but there is an extended forecast feature as well (it used to only span 3 days). Personally I am a fan of the new design with the exception of the ad but it is non-intrusive so I guess it’s not that bad. To read more about the changes check out the Simple Weather’s Blog post about the new site. To learn more about the site check it out as well as read the blog.

New Look and Feel
Well today I decided that I was bored with my old look and considering changing themes with WordPress is as easy as a click of a mouse I did. Tell me what you think and if I should change anything and how you like the new look.
